At the heart of any successful organizing campaign is the training and development of leadership. MVOC primarily develops grassroots leaders through their direct involvement in the establishment and implementation of community campaigns.

MVOC also offers a formal portfolio of trainings that enhance leadership skills, build relationships between groups, and create a common analysis of community problems. Our organizers conduct approximately two dozen free campaign-related one-day trainings throughout the year, and MVOC partners with the Ohio Organizing Collaborative on a weeklong organizing training program each summer for our most involved grassroots leaders.
