Attend the Youngstown Community Congress

Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative will hold the first ever Youngstown Community Congress. It will be held on Monday, September 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 30 West Front Street, Youngstown, OH 44503.

The Congress will address issues such as vacant properties, dwindling neighborhood safety, lack of access to healthy foods and high unemployment. This meeting will provide residents the opportunity to hear candidates running for state and local office respond to questions about neighborhood and economic revitalization and provide an opportunity to submit their own questions to be asked of the candidates.

MVOC’s 81 participating organizations, which include churches, neighborhood groups and other social service agencies, are working together to bring 1,000 people to this event. We hope you will join us.
