Local officials and leaders, including Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams, Congressman Tim Ryan and MVOC representatives, trekked to Washington D.C. today, Wednesday, January 20, for a meeting with President Barak Obama's Special Assistant for Urban Affairs. Though this meeting had already arranged to discuss the Valley and issues surrounding, the session took on another purpose as our local communities unified to seek answers as to why the Valley was left out of NSP 2 funding.
