Harry Potter is killed, but he doesn’t die. Instead, the piece of Voldemort’s soul that was inside Harry’s body was destroyed, but Harry remained healthy himself.

He could have given them all objects he had cast spells on to find each other. That would have been much more efficient if the goal is them finding each other if they accidentally seperate. There is no law that he could only give one object each. It’s made obvious in text he knew Ron would leave and want to come back.
