How do students login to IXL?
How do students sign in with a LaunchCard?
- From the IXL mobile app sign-in screen, tap the purple LaunchCard icon, located below the username and password fields.
- If prompted for camera access, tap Allow.
- Hold your LaunchCard in front of the camera on your device, and make sure it is positioned within the guidelines.
- When your profile appears, tap Enter!
How do I find my IXL student password?
Yes! At the top of your roster, there are two options for helpful username and password printouts. For a handy teacher reference, you can click Print a list of students’ usernames and passwords for a list of all your students’ sign-in information.
How do I add students in IXL?
On the Account management tab, hover over Roster and select Students from the drop-down menu. Click Add a student, which is located in the upper-right corner. Enter the student’s information. Click Submit to create the new student account.

i-Ready is an amazing complement to what we were already doing in the classroom. The Diagnostic is definitely a great starting point for the children and for myself, but beyond that, children need to get into those lessons, onto their computers, and also have some backup support material from me.
