How do you create harmony in art?
To create unity or harmony in art, artists arrange the similar components and elements of art to create consistency. Unity or harmony can also be created by merging the form and the meaning of the artwork together.
What is visual harmony?
A pleasing array of visual elements in a landscape, usually as a result of a sense of visual order, compatibility, and completeness between and among the land forms, water forms, vegetation, or structures visible in the landscape.
How can you say that a visual artwork has movement?
Some art works feature line or brushwork that was created by physical gestures generated by the artist. We can learn to infer the direction and force of the gestures and experience them as “movement” simply by tracking it with our eyes.
How do artists show movement?
The most direct way to show movement is to draw or paint lines coming from the object that is moving. For example, this type of movement can be seen in the image below… Communicating movement in this manner may be effective but it is definitely not aesthetic. It is also quite “cartoony” as well
