What is the honors college at Purdue?
The Purdue Honors College is a residential college that seeks to educate the whole student and bridge the gap between curricular and extracurricular learning. The Honors College hopes to draw curious, motivated, and dedicated students who want to be a part of a diverse community of scholars.

With a GPA of 3.69, Purdue requires you to be above average in your high school class. You’ll need at least a mix of A’s and B’s, with more A’s than B’s. You can compensate for a lower GPA with harder classes, like AP or IB classes.

Each year, we are limited to an enrollment of approximately 700 new students. Honors College admissions decisions will be rolled out for future students in February each year.
