What is a coding teacher?
The Coding Teacher is an exciting new position. The teacher will design and teach the curriculum to PreK through Sixth Grade students. In addition, students will be instructed on how computers work, including the basic science and mathematics behind their operation.

Where can I teach coding?
Programs such as Code.org, Khan Academy, and Codeacademy have text-based options that are better for older students. Middle and high school students may find visual drag and drop coding too kid-oriented, and will gravitate towards programs that teach coding syntax.

No, coding is not hard to learn. Much like any other skill, learning how to code requires time and persistence. The difficulty will depend on the programming language itself and what kind of software you’d like to make. You’re ready to make a career change and become a programmer.

No, you don’t need to be extremely intelligent, just determined. Learning programming is learning a new skill. It’s a skill in which you likely have no prior exposure or experience. It’s a skill that requires a significant amount of learning and practice.
Can you code if you’re bad at math?
You can be bad at arithmetic and calculus and still be a great programmer. However it’s unlikely you can be bad at logic and structured proofs while still being a great programmer. Rigorous abstract logic as used in high level mathematics is integral to programming.
What to do if you are not good at coding?
Take your time though, it is a luxury to be able to keep on working and making money while searching for a new job. You should take advantage of the fact that you don’t really need to move, you just want to. Take your time to think bout what you want. First off: you don’t need to be good at coding.
