What is eras ID number?
The Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) Token is a one-time, unique access code provided to applicants which grants access to register for the residency application process via MyERAS. For medical students, it marks the beginning of the 2020 residency application timeline.

Is eras ID same as AAMC ID?
Note: If you have registered for NRMP, confirm your MyERAS and NRMP AAMC ID are the same. If they are different, contact ERAS or NRMP as soon as possible to reconcile the discrepancy.

Can I add letters to eras after submission?
ERAS allows you to store as many LoR’s as you like and designate different letters for each program. You can continue to add letters of recommendation to ERAS, even after your residency application has been released to programs.
When should you submit eras?
ERAS Support Services at ECFMG highly recommends that you submit all of your supporting documents no later than October 14 to help ensure their availability on October 21 when programs begin accessing applications.
